Gardener in Berlicum

Berlicum and neighbouring Middelrode have a rural character. The gardens here are often more spacious than in the city, with mature trees, long hedges and plenty of grass. That calls for different work than a compact city garden: more trimming, heavier trees and often a stretch of countryside to keep up.

For a tree that has to go, I come by to look at the situation. An old oak or conifer close to the house is felled in a controlled way, in sections if the space is tight, and the stump can be ground out in the same job. That way nothing is left to mow around.

For the maintenance that comes back every season you are in the right place too: trimming hedges into shape, touching up shrubs, tackling grass and weeds and carting off the green waste. One-off when the garden has got away from you, or on a regular basis so it never does.
