Stump grinding in Den Bosch and surroundings
A leftover tree stump gets in the way, sprouts again and makes mowing awkward. With a stump grinder I take the stump out right down below ground level.

How it works in practice
Grinding a stump out below ground level. Afterwards the spot is flat, ready to pave over or reseed.
Leaving a stump in place costs you more effort later than taking it out now. It sprouts again, attracts insects and sits right in the way when you want to lay out the garden anew. Often I grind a stump out right after felling a tree, but on its own works just as well.
Why grinding instead of digging out
Digging out damages the surrounding garden and takes a lot of time. Grinding is faster and tidier: the grinder mills away the stump and the thick roots down below ground level, without having to open up half the garden.
Straight on afterwards
Once it is ground out, the spot is ready to use again. Sowing grass, putting a plant in or laying paving over it, it is all possible. I clear away the grindings or leave them as fill, whatever you prefer.

How deep is a stump ground out?
As standard around 15 to 30 cm below ground level, enough to replant, pave or sow over. Deeper is possible by arrangement.
Can this be done together with felling the tree?
Yes, that is often the handiest. I fell the tree and grind out the stump in the same job, so everything is sorted in one go.
