Conifer removal in and around Den Bosch

A conifer hedge that has grown too tall, too wide or bare at the bottom takes away light and space and gets harder to keep up every year. If you want rid of it, I take it out. It is heavy work with a lot of waste, and I take that off your hands.

Having conifers or a conifer hedge removed

A conifer hedge is a hedge, and a hedge that has to go I remove roots and all. Then I tidy up the spot. A single conifer standing in the garden like a tree, I fell in a controlled way, in sections when there is little room.

What should you look out for?

• A fully grown conifer can fall under the felling rules. In ’s-Hertogenbosch you need an environmental permit if the tree is on the tree map (Bomenkaart), or if it stands in a designated green structure with a trunk circumference from 35 centimetres (in a character area from 1 metre), measured at 1.30 metres height. • Think about what goes in that spot. Once removed, the spot is ready for a fence or new planting. If the rest of the garden needs work too, that can be done in one go with a garden makeover.

What happens to the stump and the waste?

If a single conifer leaves a stump, I grind it out to below ground level. I haul the clippings away or chip them on the spot. So you do not need to arrange a trailer.

What does conifer removal cost?

That depends on how many conifers there are, how tall and thick they are, how easy the spot is to reach and whether the stumps have to come out. Message a photo and you will get a fair price.
